Original Sin is a 2001 suspense thriller period movie set in Cuba. It stars Angelina Jolie and Antonia Banderas as Julia Russell and Luis Vargas respectively. Vargas is a wealthy plantation owner who sends for an American mail-order bride. When Julia arrives in Cuba she is nothing like the picture she had sent him. Nonetheless they get married and get to know each other in the next few weeks. Unfortunately Julia has a dark secret which threatends to destroy their seemingly blissful marriage.
The movie is a remake of the 1969 French movie Mississippi Mermaid which starred Jean-Paul Belmondo and Catherine Deneuve. Both movies are based on the suspense novel Waltz Into Darkness by Cornell Woolrich under the pseudonym William Irish.
fanlistings
A fanlisting is simply a site that tries to list all fans of a particular subject. As of 2008 the staff has 60 members plus about a hundred or so more who help with trouble-checking, etc. There are over 40,000 fanlistings in over 50 categories ranging from Fashion to History, Celebrities, Literature, Web and Internet related and just about everything in between.
Some fanlistings, such as the Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp ones, have over 17,000 fans listed. The Orlando Bloom one has around 27,000 fans.
