This is a general fanlisting for necromancer characters in books and movies. Just like vampires or elves are a race or character type, well, so are necromancers!
A necromancer, as portrayed in fiction today, is one who raises the dead to do his or her biding. For the most part they are portrayed as evil men using their powers of raising the dead, which lies usually in black magic, to get whatever they want for themselves or for their master.
Female necromancers, as well as good ones, are a rarirty in fiction but there are some like Anita Blakes or Dante Valentine. Necros can also be beautiful but, again for the most part, are portrayed as little more than walking corpses as their bodies decompose the more they use their powers.
