Evernight is a Young Adult urban fantasy vampire novel written by author Amy Vincent under the pseudonym Claudia Gray. It is the first book in a planned four part series. The titles of the next books are: Stargazer, Hourglass & Afterlife.

The novel revolves around Bianca Olivier, a small town girl who is dragged by her parents to a creepy boarding school named Evernight. Here she makes friends with the outcasts and is intrigued by a student by the name of Lucas. Since, as you can see, I pretty much suck at writing a synopsis I'll just let you read the one straight from the the publisher's website.

Bianca wants to escape. She's been uprooted from her small hometown and enrolled at Evernight Academy, an eerie Gothic boarding school where the students are somehow too perfect: smart, sleek, and almost predatory. Bianca knows she doesn't fit in. Then she meets Lucas. He's not the "Evernight type" either, and he likes it that way. Lucas ignores the rules, stands up to the snobs, and warns Bianca to be careful—even when it comes to caring about him. "I couldn't stand it if they took it out on you," he tells Bianca, "and eventually they would." But the connection between Bianca and Lucas can't be denied. Bianca will risk anything to be with Lucas, but dark secrets are fated to tear them apart . . . and to make Bianca question everything she's ever believed.

fanlistings

A fanlisting is simply a site that tries to list all fans of a particular subject. The concept was created by Janine Mischor back in 2000 as she wanted a place to list all the fans of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV show. That fanlisting is still in open and you can visit it here. As the fanlisting concept caught on a staff was set up to take care of the network.

As of 2008 the staff has 60 members plus about a hundred or so more who help with trouble-checking, etc. Every single person working on the TFL network is a volunteer. Currently there are over 40,000 fanlistings in over 50 categories ranging from Fashion to History, Celebrities, Literature, Web and Internet related and just about everything in between. If it's out there then it probably has a fanlistings. Hell, there is even a fanlisting for sporks. And it has 176 fans listed. ^_^

Some fanlistings, such as the Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp ones, have over 17,000 fans listed. The Orlando Bloom one has around 27,000 fans.
